Mighty Yak Explained
The Mighty Yak in Clash of Clans is a Pet built like a Siege Machine, known for its ability to knock down Walls it encounters.
This pet stands out for its resilience and aggressive behavior, particularly when its companion Hero is knocked out, at which point it enters a state of rage​​. In terms of its statistics, the Mighty Yak's damage per second and hit points increase with each level, starting at 60 damage per second and 3,750 hitpoints at Level 1, and reaching up to 116 damage per second and 6,300 hitpoints at Level 15​​.
Special Ability: Wall Buster
The Mighty Yak's special ability is called "Wall Buster." This ability allows it to deal extra damage to walls, similar to the Wall Wrecker. This makes the Mighty Yak particularly effective in breaking through enemy defenses and aiding in creating pathways for troops​​.
Unlocking and Requirements
Mighty Yak is the third pet unlocked in the game, available once players upgrade their Pet House to level 3.
The Yak has a large number of Hit Points and deals extra damage to Walls. If the Hero it is paired with is knocked out, the Mighty Yak gets enraged, doing extra damage and moving faster for a short period​​.
Strategies & Tips
Hero Pairing
The Mighty Yak pairs well with the Barbarian King, as its ability to open compartments by breaking walls complements the Barbarian King's close-range fighting style. This combination can be utilized in several strategies effectively. However, it's not as popular as some other hero-pet combinations but is still worth considering​​.
Tactical Usage
With its high hit points and extra damage to walls, the Mighty Yak is a great pet for leading attacks. It can absorb damage and destroy walls, making it useful in strategies like the Queen Walk. Its wall-breaking ability enhances its utility in various attack strategies, particularly those involving ground-based attacks where breaking through enemy defenses is crucial​​.
