Magic Books explained: how to use and how to obtain these Magic Items.
Books are a type of Magic Items used to complete upgrades instantly. Each type of Book can finish a specific type of upgrade and users can keep only a single one book of each type on their inventory.
Books vs Magic Hammers
Books have the ability to instantly finish an ongoing upgrade, skipping the timer. You must start the upgrade with your own resources.
Magic Hammers, however, have the power to start and finish an upgrade, without using any resource and skipping the time. This makes Hammers the most powerful Magic Items on the game.
Obtaining Books
Books randomly appear at the Shop to be purchased with real money on Special Packs. Books will also occasionally appear at the Daily Discounts barrack where they can be bought with Gems.
However, you can still obtain Books without spending money or Gems. They are constantly awarded on Clan Games and special events. This is how most people get them.
There are currently 5 types of books on the game:
List of Books
Book of Building
Supposedly authored by the Master Builder himself, this magical book can be used to instantly complete any building upgrade. Works in both villages!
The Book of Building allows the player to instantly complete any building upgrade. It can be applied to any building, as well as any Traps. However, it cannot be applied to Hero upgrades or any upgrades within the Laboratory.
It can be purchased for 925 Gems and sold for 50 Gems.
Book of Fighting
Filled with very efficient training programs, this magical book can be used to instantly complete any ongoing troop upgrade. Works in both villages!
The Book of Fighting allows the player to instantly complete any ongoing troop upgrade within the Laboratory or Star Laboratory. It can be applied to any troop, but nothing more.
It can be purchased for 925 Gems and sold for 50 Gems.
Book of Spells
Written by unknown wizards, this magical book can be used to instantly complete any ongoing spell upgrade. Works in Home Village.
The Book of Spells can instantly complete any ongoing Spell upgrade within the Laboratory. It applies to all Spell upgrades, but nothing more.
It can be purchased for 925 Gems and sold for 50 Gems.
Book of Heroes
Full of heroic tales and sound advice, this magical book can be used to instantly complete any ongoing hero upgrade. Works in both villages!
The Book of Heroes allows the player to instantly complete a single Hero or Pets upgrade in either village. It can be used on any of the four Heroes, but nothing more.
It can be purchased for 500 Gems and sold for 50 Gems.
Book of Everything
This extremely powerful magical encyclopedia can be used to instantly complete any ongoing upgrade. Works in both villages!
The Book of Everything allows the player to instantly complete any ongoing upgrade in either village. It is a combination of the other four books, versatile enough to apply to any upgrade.
It can be sold for 50 Gems.
