Rocket Balloon

Retrofitted with two carefully safety-inspected booster rockets, the Rocket Balloon gets a flying start to every battle!

Rocket Balloon is a Super Troop based on the Balloon available on the Home Village. It was added to the game on the Summer 2021 update.

Rocket Balloon Explained

The Rocked Balloon is a powered-up version of the regular Balloon.

Compared to the regular Ballon, the Rocket Balloon is around 10% stronger, moves 20% faster, makes similar damage per second, and double damage upon death. It uses 8 housing spaces instead of 5.

Just as the regular Balloon, the Rocket Balloon also targets defensive buildings.

Special Ability: Boosters

Increases movement speed for the first 4 seconds

The Special Ability is what makes the Rocket Balloon worth the extra housing space: when deployed, the Rocket Balloon gets a huge extra movement speed boost for 4 seconds.

The boost is so huge that feels like it is using a Haste Spell. This not only can save you some spells, but it can also face Air Sweepers without much issues for 4 seconds.

How to Use the Rocket Balloon

The Rocket Balloon uses 8 housing spaces instead of 5 from the regular Balloon with a similar DPS and double death damage, so it's not really worth making a mass Rocket Balloon attack.

However, Rocket Balloons show their true value in the first 4 seconds of the battle. With the huge speed booster, you can easily snipe important defenses prior to your mass Balloon attack, saving you Haste Spells.

Unlocking and Requirements

Power-up your Balloon, transforming it on a Super Troop, costs 25.000 Dark Elixir and requires a Town Hall 12 and above.

It is available starting at Balloon level 8.
