Storages Vs Treasury
If you want to protect your resources, where is the safest place to keep it? Storages or the Treasury?
Let’s find out, but first a few notes on how the loot system works and the difference between regular Storages and the Treasury.

Treasury is a special safe located on your Clan Castle. The loot available steal from the Treasury is very simple to understand: 3%. That’s it. The enemy always steals 3%.
The bonus loot from Clan Wars, Clan Games and Star Bonuses goes directly to this safe and can be moved to the regular storages to be used at any time.

The loot available from the Storages is a percentage of the resources and it changes according to the Town Hall level and resource type.
But the most important thing here is the cap, the limit of resources that can be stolen by the enemy.

Treasury Vs Storages
Here is the deal: the safest place to keep resources is the Treasury, but not always: the loot cap is applied only to the regular storages, so the Treasury is the best place only until you reach the cap limit according to your Town Hall.
The cap is the maximum loot you can lose from the storages only! The loot from the Treasury doesn’t enter on this limit, so Town Hall 13 will offer 550k from the storages + loot from the Treasury. In other words, keeping resouces on the Treasury is only good if your storages are below the cap. Once you reach da cap, it's better to move all resources to the storages.
Making it simple: if the loot you are giving away is already the maximum according to your Town Hall, it’s better to clean your Treasury and move all resources to the Storages.
Considering you are a Town Hall 13, it's only a good deal to keep Gold and Elixir on the Treasury until you 5,500,000 of each on your storages. Once you reach this amount of Gold/Elixir, it's better to collect the resources from the Treasury.
