Ricochet Cannon
Builder has used one weird trick to develop a devastating cannonball that will ricochet and hit a second target.
Ricochet is a defensive building on the Home Village. It was introduced on the Christmas 2023 update, with the Town Hall 16.
Ricochet Cannon Explained
The Ricochet Cannon is a unique defense in Clash of Clans, created by merging two Cannons.
This defense stands out because of its ability to deal damage to two targets with a single shot. The cannonball fired from this defense will hit an initial target and then ricochet to hit a second target.
It is particularly effective as it can deal twice the amount of damage as a Level 21 Cannon, making it a powerful addition to your defenses​​​​​​.
Unlocking Ricochet Gun
The Ricochet Cannon is unlocked on Town Hall 16. Additionally, the construction of a Ricochet Cannon requires merging two Cannons that are at level 21.
Once the merging process begins, it cannot be undone, and the resulting Ricochet Cannon cannot be split back into two separate Cannons.
It's important to note that Cannons that have been geared up cannot be selected for the merge.
Range
The Ricochet Cannon has a range of 9 tiles and occupies a 3x3 space. It targets a single ground unit initially and then bounces off to hit a second target.
The unique ricochet ability allows it to deal damage to more than one enemy with each shot, enhancing its effectiveness in defense​​.
Upgrading
When you upgrade the Ricochet Cannon, both its damage per second and hitpoints increase. At level 1, it has 360 damage per second and 5,400 hitpoints, and at level 2, these increase to 390 damage per second and 5,700 hitpoints. Upgrading it further enhances these stats, making it even more formidable against attacking troops​​.
